Maintenance Information Raincover Owners

measuring the existing hinge
This raincover is relatively maintenance free. It should be dry when it is stored, particularly if it will be stored for a long period. A bag for storing and carrying the raincover is supplied with all purchases.
the circlip securing the pin has been moved out of position There are two maintenance issues that I have come across. They both involve the pin which is used as a hinge to hold the frame together. If the raincover is not dry when stored, this pin may become rusty and not function properly. A small amount of oil may fix this.
pushing the circlip back into place The other maintenance issue that I have come across is the circlip that secures the pin in position may move away from the frame. This can be caused by a small impact on the end of the pin. When this happens, the clips may become wobbly and may not secure the raincover properly to the pushchair.

Fixing this issue is straightforward. Just use the end of one or preferably two small flat screwdrivers to firmly push the circlip back into position against the plastic frame, as shown on the left.

The pin and circlip should look like the final photo.
